Thethi secluded among the mountains, retains its purity, which is also reflected in the rich flavors of the ingredients that grow here.<\/p>

OUR CATTLE HOUSE<\/span><\/h3>

Our cattle house count of four to six cows, some pigs, and a few chickens<\/p>

The father of the family, Mr. Ndoc, takes care of all of them. Each one of the cows has a specific name and he calls them by name. He sent them every morning to the meadows on the premises and bring them back in the evening.<\/p>

Part of the meat and dairy products for our restaurant comes from his work.<\/p>

He is happy to guide our guests who want to visit our cattle house and garden, to see our simple way of how we take care of them.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

FROM THE SHEPHERD OF THE ALPINE PASTURES<\/h3>

Guests of the Villa Gjecaj are particularly fond of their lamb or small goat meat, which comes directly from the Alpine pastures; from spring to autumn, and from the most prosperous pastures of Peja golf, Runica pastures, Denelli or Boga too.<\/p>

The shepherds respect the animals and are passionate about the quality of their products.<\/p>

Every weekend, during the high season, they use to bring in Villa Gjecaj two lambs and a quantity of cheese.<\/p>

HOME-MADE DIARY<\/h3>

With the milk of our cows, we use to produce our home white cheese, butter, yogurt, and fresh milk which are used by our Chef for cooking or freshly served for breakfast.<\/p>

During the wintertime, when there are no tourists, our mother uses to produce and save all the cheese and butter for the new season.<\/p>

Also, we use to produce at home even the ham according to our traditional Albanian way<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

ZADRIMA \u2013 FARMERS<\/h3>

The farmers of this area used to live with their land production of a large variety of vegetables but in small quantities, which are grown in an organic way and on a family base. For this reason, we have chosen them to cover our request for vegetables before they are ready in our greenhouse, which is matured two months later than in the fields of the Shkodra region.<\/p>

Accept of our need for vegetables is even a social impact that we want to contribute, to help grow other family businesses and earn their won incomes from what they know to do best.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

JAM & JUICE<\/h3>

With the barries on-premises, strawberries from our garden, and the local fruits like Cornelian berries \u2013 Cornus Mas, we use to produce our homemade jam and juices according to the fruits season.<\/p>

ALBANIAN WINEHOUSE<\/h3>

Among the variety of wines we use to serve in our restaurant, Arbri is the most chosen one by our guests. This is an Albanian wine produced with the autochthonous variety of grape Kallmet. This grape is grown in a very well noun area of vineyards in Bukmira, which has an old tradition of vine producers in Albania. This wine has won its prestige from the international prices they got in the last few years and it\u2019s very good exported in the EU and the USA.
This is also a family business, where the son of the family, the new generation, is one of the best new oenologists in Albania, who have studied abroad<\/p>
